The Pre-Send Research Checklist

Cold email gets ignored when it isn't relevant — not when it's badly written. Before you write a single line to a prospect, find these five things. If you can't fill in at least three, you're not ready to send yet; you're about to spray.

1 · A recent trigger

A reason to reach out now — this is what turns cold into warm.

2 · The real pain for their segment

Not your product's features — the problem they feel, in their words.

3 · A genuine point of relevance

One real thing that makes your outreach relevant to them — not {{first_name}}, and not a flex.

4 · The right person + a buying signal

Reaching the correct human at a moment they might actually care.

5 · A soft, relevant next step

The ask that fits a first touch — low-friction, easy to say yes to.

Before you send

Green-light when you've got #1 (a trigger), #3 (a pattern-interrupt detail), and #4 (the right person) at minimum. If those are blank, the email will read as generic no matter how good the copy is — do the research first, then write.

Don't want to research, write and follow up on every prospect yourself? That's the part we run for you.
